Daily Me: Mo Ogrodnik ‘Deep Powder’ Feature Released On Demand Through FilmBuff

Vuguru and Killer Content will release romantic drama Deep Powder across multiple on-demand sites beginning today through digital distributor FilmBuff[3]. The feature is directed by Mo Ogrodnik[4] (Ripe), and stars Haley Bennett[5] (The Equalizer[6]) and Shiloh Fernandez[7] (White Bird in a Blizzard). The film is largely set in Ecuador, where a privileged boarding-school student and her townie partner are making a drug run for the student's senior class.

The online release is a first for Killer Content, the parent company of Killer Films. FilmBuff will make the film available across all major on-demand platforms, including iTunes,AmazonGoogle PlayVudu, cable companies and the online services of Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox.

Vuguru develops original scripted content for TV and online releases, often creating a series of shorts for online release, then repackaging the story into a handful of longer-form episodes for international sales. The company is backed by Michael Eisner’s Tornante and Rogers Media.
